Cultivating Cultures of Care in a World Built to Burn us Out
Nonprofits are holding together the social fabric — and the cost of that care is becoming unsustainable. If we want to preserve community resilience, we have to invest in the people doing the work.

I’ve spent my career inside the messy, beautiful work of building organizations that hold communities together. Over time, I’ve learned that care — real, sustaining care — can’t exist inside systems built for burnout. Briga was born from that truth. My work now is about reimagining leadership and organizational life so that the people doing the holding are held, too. I’m here to build alongside those who are ready to challenge the old ways, lead with heart, and create something that actually lasts.
