Hi there— I’m Liz, owner and founder of Briga Collective.

’ve spent my career inside the nonprofit sector, leading organizations through growth, capital development, and complex funding environments. I’ve built programs from the ground up, raised millions in public and private funding, and guided teams through seasons of rapid change and uncertainty.

I know what it looks like when an organization is carrying more than its infrastructure can hold — leadership transitions, capital projects, federal compliance, capacity strain. These are critical moments. And they require experienced, steady executive-level support.

Through Briga Collective, I provide short-term operational and capital oversight for nonprofits navigating leadership change, complex funding, or structural inflection points. My work is designed to stabilize, clarify, and protect organizations during high-stakes seasons — without requiring another permanent hire.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication from Doane University and a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from the University of Nebraska–Omaha, along with a Certificate in Fundraising Management. I’ve continued my leadership development through programs including Leadership Tomorrow, the Nonprofit Excellence Institute, T.E.A.M. Building Culture Executive Leadership, and LeadDIVERSITY through Inclusive Communities.

I’ve always believed that leadership isn’t about hierarchy — it’s about how we show up for one another. That belief has guided my community work too: serving on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and chairing initiatives that center connection and access. In 2025, I was honored to be named the Inspire Woman of the Year — recognition that reflects my commitment to strong governance, thoughtful leadership, and community-centered impact.

Briga Collective exists for organizations in pivotal moments — when clarity, continuity, and experienced oversight matter most.
